Choose what the longer journey gives you

The sixteen-day Ephesus, Pergamon and Cappadocia route adds Priene, Miletos and Didyma to the western ancient sites. Five Cappadocia nights allow a free day and all three main sightseeing routes. It also leaves full free days in Kusadasi and Istanbul.

The eighteen-day route through the southeast and Antalya follows a different map. Nemrut, Gobeklitepe, Karahantepe and Harran come before Halfeti and Gaziantep. Four Antalya nights include two excursions and a full free day, before Pamukkale and Ephesus.

The twenty-day tour with Hattusa gives Cappadocia six nights at one hotel. Its local days include Red, Yellow and Green tours, a Hattusa excursion and free time. The road from Antalya also stops in Konya for an independent visit.

Look at each week, not just the total length

Mark the hotel changes, early departures and long drives in the daily itinerary. A free day is most useful where you want to spend it. Time in Antalya does not replace an independent day among Cappadocia's valleys, and a free afternoon after a transfer is not a whole day off.

For southeastern visits, check the regional overnight stops and the planned Nemrut visit for your dates. For family trips, review walking, room occupancy and activity conditions across the full route.

When an extension makes more sense

If the added regions do not interest you, start with a 10–14 day package and request more nights in selected places. List which hotels, transfers and guided days you still need in the Turkey trip planner. This keeps extra time purposeful without filling it with unwanted visits.
