Booking information
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms alongside your chosen tour and booking confirmation. They explain how reservations, payments, changes and cancellations work.
Last updated: 15 September 2026
01Who these terms cover
1. Who these terms cover
These terms concern travel services booked through seeturkeytours.com, the See Turkey Tours website. “You” means the person making the booking and the travellers included in it. A “supplier” is a hotel, airline, guide, transport company or activity provider delivering a service.
Your booking confirmation identifies the services reserved for you. A travel voucher gives the details needed to use a service. The tour start is the first confirmed service, which may be a transfer or hotel stay before the first guided day.
For questions about your booking or contracting details, contact info@seeturkeytours.com. Keep these terms and your booking documents together.
2. Making a reservation
A saved itinerary, cart or enquiry does not reserve travel services. Review the dates, travellers, room choices, inclusions and total before submitting a booking.
Your confirmation records the accepted arrangements and payment requirements. A payment attempt, bank-transfer instruction or pending booking is not evidence that every service is confirmed. Follow the status and instructions in the confirmation you receive.
The lead traveller must be an adult authorised to act for the party. Please share the booking conditions and travel documents with everyone included and provide accurate passenger information.
3. How your trip is arranged
A package may bring together services from several providers. Your itinerary explains which services are included and where a day is free for your own plans.
Supplier rules can apply to matters such as airline baggage or hotel check-in. They do not remove our responsibilities under applicable package-travel or consumer law. Contact us if an included service is missing or does not match the confirmed arrangements.
Travel agents and affiliate partners
Travel agents and affiliate partners work under their separate accepted partner terms. Those terms govern eligibility, commissions, adjustments and payment arrangements. They do not reduce a traveller’s rights under their booking.
4. Understanding the price
The price depends on your dates, party, hotel options, tour format and extras. The selected currency, total, amount due now and later payments are shown before payment. Availability and unconfirmed prices can change.
Check the final summary each time you change an option. Only the services listed as included form part of the price. Your bank may separately charge for currency conversion or an international transaction.
After confirmation, any proposed price change must follow the contract and applicable law, including limits, notice periods and your right to respond. We will explain the reason and calculation in writing; an unrestricted price increase is not permitted.
5. Paying for your booking
Checkout shows the payment methods available for your booking. Any deposit, full-payment requirement and remaining instalments depend on the services and departure date; there is no single deposit percentage for every trip.
Follow the amounts, due dates, currency and collection instructions in your booking payment schedule. Do not assume the whole balance is payable to the first guide. If cash payment is agreed, check the amount and request a receipt.
For a bank transfer, use the instructions issued for your booking and include the reference. Allow for bank processing and any sender or intermediary fees. A booking awaiting payment may need availability checked again.
If you cannot meet a payment deadline, contact us before it passes. Unpaid services may be at risk of cancellation under the agreed conditions and applicable law. Never send a card number or security code by email or in a contact message.
6. Travel insurance
We recommend travel insurance that covers your itinerary, medical treatment, cancellation and disruption. Check the policy yourself, including exclusions and any extra cover for activities such as balloon flights.
Insurance is arranged separately unless your booking explicitly includes it. A claim depends on your insurer’s terms. Having insurance does not replace the rights you have against a travel provider.
7. Passports, visas and traveller details
You must meet the entry and transit rules that apply to your passport and journey. Check the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs guidance and the relevant consulate before travelling. A tour reservation does not guarantee permission to enter.
Enter traveller names as they appear on the travel document. Check birth dates, nationality and any required passport details before tickets are issued. Tell us about an error immediately.
Corrections can require supplier approval, reissue fees or a new ticket. We will explain any cost before an agreed change. Responsibility for an error and any refund rights are assessed under the booking terms and applicable law.
Your booking information
Traveller information helps us arrange and support the services you select. The privacy policy explains data collection, payments, service providers and privacy requests. Do not include card details in ordinary messages.
8. Flights and airport connections
Domestic flights are included only where named in your selected itinerary. Your ticket specifies the airline, airports, flight times and baggage allowance. Check each sector: allowances can differ between fares and airlines.
International flights are yours to arrange unless expressly included in a written offer. Send accurate arrival and departure details for any booked transfers, and allow time for airport procedures and connections.
Airline schedules can change. Contact us promptly about delays or cancellation so we can check the affected services. Replacement travel and refunds depend on the situation, your booking and applicable passenger and package-travel rights; they are not automatically excluded.
9. Hotels and rooms
Standard, Middle and High are our package hotel categories. They are not a promise of an identical star rating, room size or facility at every property. Read the options offered for your tour.
Specific hotels, twin beds, connecting rooms, cots and special room locations require confirmation. A request is not guaranteed unless accepted as part of the booking. Triple rooms may use an extra bed.
Check hotel names and nights in your travel documents. If an arrangement needs to change, we will explain the alternative and any choices you have. Significant changes remain subject to your legal rights. A tour without accommodation includes only the hotel-related services expressly listed.

10. Cancellations and refunds
Please read this section carefully. The fee that applies if you cancel depends on how many days remain between your cancellation request and the first service date of your booking.
A booking may include several services: tours, hotels, transfers, flights, charters or activities. All these services count as one booking, regardless of the number of passengers. Where shared services are involved, cancelling one passenger may be treated as the cancellation of the whole booking, and the fees below then apply to every passenger affected.
Unless a more specific deadline applies, a 25% administrative fee is always retained on any cancellation. Any non-refundable flights, hotels or activity tickets in the booking are added to the cancellation fee on top of the percentage below, whenever you cancel.
Cancellation fee schedule
| Days before departure | Cancellation fee | What this means |
|---|---|---|
| 61 to 90 days | 30% | You receive 70% of the total booking value back. |
| 31 to 60 days | 40% | You receive 60% of the total booking value back. |
| 16 to 30 days | 70% | You receive 30% of the total booking value back. |
| 0 to 15 days, or no show | 100% | No refund. The full booking value is retained. |
Cancel earlier than the first row above and the administrative fee is all you pay.
Additional rules
- How to cancel. Cancellation requests must be sent in writing, by email or through our contact form. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request during office hours. If your request arrives outside office hours, we use the next working day as the cancellation date. This can affect your fee if that date falls in a different row of the table.
- No show. Failing to appear at the agreed departure point without prior written notice results in the loss of 100% of the booking value.
- Non-refundable rates. Hotels booked on non-refundable or restricted rates may remain non-refundable even where the overall timeline would allow a partial refund. That amount is kept in full and added to any other cancellation fee.
- Promotional and discounted tours. All discounted or promotional tours are strictly non-refundable. Cancelling one results in a 100% charge and no refund, at any time before departure. This non-refundable condition is part of the offer that gives you the lower price.
- Refunds. We return refunds using the original payment method. Card payments go back to the same card. Bank transfers go back to the account they came from. We confirm the amount in writing before sending it. Your bank controls how long it takes to appear in your account.
- Mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in this section removes a right you have under applicable package-travel or consumer law. Where such a rule gives you a better outcome than the schedule above, that rule applies.
11. Changing plans
For a change of dates, traveller or room, contact us before making separate arrangements. We will check availability and explain any price difference or supplier charge. Your original booking stays in place until a change is accepted.
We may need to adjust visit order because of opening hours, traffic, weather or operational conditions. If a significant confirmed service changes, we will explain your options and the applicable rights rather than treating every substitute as automatically acceptable.
If we cancel, we will explain the available alternative or refund. Any minimum-group condition must be disclosed with the relevant departure and cancellation notice must follow applicable rules.
12. What your package includes
Use the itinerary and final booking summary to check meals, entrance tickets, transport, guiding and accommodation. An optional activity is included only if selected and confirmed.
Unless expressly listed, budget separately for international travel, visas, insurance, personal purchases, drinks, additional meals and optional tips. Photos illustrate destinations and accommodation styles; the written booking details identify the services you buy.
13. Meeting points and conduct
Be at the confirmed meeting point at the stated time. Tell the contact in your travel documents immediately if you are delayed. A shared departure may be unable to wait; any help to rejoin and related costs depend on what is possible.
Follow safety instructions, respect other travellers and local rules, and take care of personal belongings. Serious unsafe or disruptive behaviour may require participation to end where proportionate and lawful. This does not create a blanket exclusion of responsibility for our own fault.
Workshop visits listed in the itinerary do not require a purchase. Group size, language and tour format are those confirmed for your selected departure.
14. Access, diet and activity requirements
Tell us before booking about practical requirements that affect your trip, such as step-free access, boarding assistance or a dietary restriction. Share only the information needed to check suitable arrangements.
Historic sites may include stairs, rough ground and narrow passages. An accessible hotel room or vehicle must be specifically confirmed. A private tour does not make every site accessible.
Food preparation and activity participation rules belong to the relevant providers. We cannot assume an allergy-free kitchen or medical suitability. Check any health concerns with a qualified clinician and any participation limits with the operator.
15. Events outside reasonable control
Severe weather, natural disasters, official restrictions and other extraordinary events can affect a trip. We will review available alternatives and tell you what can be provided.
The outcome depends on the services affected and applicable law. These events do not automatically remove duties to assist or statutory refund rights. For a weather-cancelled balloon flight, contact us about the unused flight, possible rescheduling and the refund due for that service.
16. Responsibility and your rights
We are responsible to the extent required by the contract and applicable law, including obligations that apply to package organisers or intermediaries. Using independent suppliers does not itself remove those obligations.
Travel you arrange independently is outside the booked package, but any claim is assessed on its facts. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, negligence causing death or personal injury, or another responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer protections take priority.
17. If something is wrong
Raise a problem with your guide or with us as soon as practical so there is an opportunity to help while you are travelling. For a written complaint, include your booking reference, the affected service, dates and any relevant evidence.
We will review the details with those involved and respond. Please contact us promptly after travel if a matter remains unresolved; this request does not shorten a statutory claim period or make a late complaint automatically invalid.
18. Using the website and trip planner
You may use this website to research and manage your own trip. Please ask before republishing our text, images or itineraries beyond uses permitted by law.
A trip-planner result is a proposal to review. Check its dates, transfers, inclusions and current price before booking. If we identify an error affecting a reservation, we will explain it and your options; we will not silently change an agreed service.
19. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Turkey, without removing mandatory protections or rights to bring a claim available to you under applicable law. A jurisdiction statement does not prevent access to a competent consumer authority or court.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue where legally possible. The conditions supplied with your booking remain the reference for that booking; a later website update does not silently replace them.
A question before you book?
Tell us which tour or clause you are checking. We can explain how it relates to your proposed trip.
