This 20-day Turkey family tour pairs Cappadocia’s valleys with a five-night Antalya stay and ancient cities along the Aegean coast. Four nights in Cappadocia cover the Red, Yellow and Green tours. In Antalya, visit Perge, Aspendos and Side, take the Demre, Myra and Kekova boat excursion, and enjoy two full free days.
Continue through Pamukkale to Kusadasi for Priene, Miletos, Didyma, a free day and Ephesus. An evening coach takes you to Canakkale for Troy before the road return to Istanbul. A few details to help you plan your family’s trip.
Please note
Day 10 must fall between 1 April and 31 October for the seasonal Demre, Myra and Kekova excursion.
Flight and coach times follow your confirmed bookings. The Cappadocia–Antalya flight has a connection.
Day 4 has the optional sunrise balloon flight or ground watching, returning before breakfast. A balloon flight lasts about one hour, is for ages 6 and over, and has no child discount. Weather or aviation restrictions may prevent flying; the balloon fee is refunded for a weather cancellation.
Ground watching includes a driver, vehicle and hotel transfers. The viewing point follows the wind and balloon activity.

After the Red Tour on day 4, choose one paid hour-long ATV, horse or camel ride for ages 10 and over. The optional Turkish Night has pickup around 20:00, dinner, unlimited local alcoholic and soft drinks, and the hotel return.
Yellow and Green both visit Pigeon Valley and an underground city; different underground sites are not guaranteed. Expect some low passages and steps. The Yellow Tour’s optional Gulludere walk takes up to two hours; you may wait in the vehicle. Green includes an Ihlara valley walk and steps.
The Kekova outing is a long day. Day 12 includes about four hours of driving either side of Pamukkale. Day 15 reaches Canakkale late after the coach journey, followed by the hotel transfer.
Enter each child’s actual age for the correct service and room prices. Families should be comfortable with full sightseeing days, uneven paths and longer road journeys.
Normal hotel check-in and checkout times apply. All listed hotel nights remain included, including the late Canakkale arrival.
The Grand Bazaar is replaced by another shopping stop when closed on Sundays.
Cleopatra’s Pool swimming costs extra and depends on access and time. The Kekova boat trip depends on weather and sea conditions.

The Demre, Myra and Kekova excursion runs from 1 April to 31 October, so day 10 must fall within that season; the calendar applies this when you choose a start date. For other dates, contact us about replacing that excursion.
How much walking and travel should children be comfortable with?
There are five full free days, but the sightseeing days are substantial. Expect uneven ancient sites, steps and narrow underground passages. The Pamukkale travel day has about eight hours on the road, and the coach to Canakkale arrives late. Enter children’s actual ages when booking so their prices are calculated correctly.
Where do we have whole days free?
Days 8 and 11 are free in Antalya, day 14 in Kusadasi, and days 18 and 19 in Istanbul. Breakfast is provided; choose and pay for any other meals, local journeys or activities independently.
What is different about the three Cappadocia tours?
Red focuses on fairy chimneys, rock-cut settlements and pottery. Yellow combines valleys, Cavusin and an underground visit, while Green adds Ihlara Valley and southern viewpoints. Yellow and Green overlap at Pigeon Valley and may visit the same underground city.
Can we choose a beachfront Antalya hotel?
High Class Antalya hotels are beachfront. Standard and Middle Class hotels are near the beach but are not beachfront. The five-night stay includes two full free days.
Can we add a Cappadocia balloon flight?
Yes, as a paid activity at sunrise on day 4, before breakfast and the Red Tour. The flight lasts about an hour and requires age 6 or over. Ground watching is a separate option. Flying depends on weather and aviation approval, with the balloon fee refunded if weather cancels it.
Is the late Canakkale hotel night included?
Yes. Day 15 includes the coach, station transfer and hotel night. Expect a late arrival after the five-and-a-half-hour coach journey, leaving a short hotel night before the 08:30 Troy tour. Consider these consecutive busy days when planning for children.
Do we sleep on the boat at Kekova?
No. Day 10 is a full-day trip from Antalya, with Demre, Myra, St Nicholas Church and a shared boat at Kekova. View the sunken ruins from the water and return to your Antalya hotel that evening.
