    About these 5 places
    Gobeklitepe
View the early Neolithic enclosures and T-shaped limestone pillars from the raised walkway beneath the protective roof. Look for carved animals, including foxes, snakes, boars and birds.
    Sanliurfa Archaeology Museum
See regional finds, the Neolithic Urfa Man statue and a full-size reconstruction of a Gobeklitepe enclosure. The displays help connect the archaeological site with the wider history of settlement here.
    Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum
Look closely at Roman floor mosaics, including Amazon hunting scenes and the Orpheus mosaic. Figures made from small coloured stones introduce another period of the region’s history.
    Balikligol
Walk beside the carp pools and through the surrounding gardens and mosque courtyards. Religious tradition links this pilgrimage setting with Abraham.
    Hasimiye Square and market lanes
Explore the streets where covered bazaars meet, passing spice shops, coppersmiths and courtyard tea houses. The stop brings the day from ancient history into everyday Sanliurfa.
